To the point of being taken for a lunatic, I have relentlessly criticized a local church for its pledge of support for Israel recently. The church even had to resort to deception to hide its true intention of lobbying for Israel. Personal friendships were destroyed in the process as I pursued my point against the church’s highly irresponsible action.
But just 5 days ago, my fear concerning the endorsement and lobby for Israel became valid. Israel raided a flotilla carrying humanitarian aid. Now, the world is one in condemning Israel. I cannot help but blame in part the local church that shamelessly lobbied for Israel. Israel has remained defiant because it knows that it enjoys tremendous support from evangelical churches. I likewise blame my former bible study group which expelled me because of my stand against the lobby. I blame each and everyone of them for not seeing the validity of my case. Now that several innocent civilians were killed, injured and imprisoned by Israel, I wonder what runs through the minds of these pastors and former friends who I dare to blame for contributing to the process of such an atrocity against humanity.
